Numbers 10:13 records the first setting out at the Lord's command by Moses, an event included in the stages Moses wrote.

Deuteronomy 10:6 describes a specific stage (Aaron's death) that is part of the itinerary Moses wrote down.

Deuteronomy 10:11 commands Moses to lead the people onward to possess the land, a directive for continuing the journey recorded in stages.

In Deuteronomy 31:9, Moses writes the law; here he writes the journey stages. Both depict Moses as a recorder of divine commands.
