Ezekiel 16:19

My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord God.

Cross-reference

Ezekiel 16:13 lists the same blessings (fine flour, honey, oil) God gave; verse 19 shows Israel perverting those very gifts as idol offerings.

Ezekiel 20:28 also accuses Israel of offering 'pleasing odors' to idols on high hills — same phrasing and accusation as Ezekiel 16:19.

Ezekiel 23:41 describes Oholibah placing God's incense and oil before idols — same imagery of using divine provisions for idolatry in the unfaithful wife allegory.

Deuteronomy 32:14-17 describes God feeding Israel richly, then them sacrificing to foreign gods — the same pattern of blessing perverted to idolatry as here.

Hosea 2:8-13 says God gave grain, wine, oil which Israel used for Baal — nearly identical accusation as Ezekiel 16:19 with the same commodities.

Numbers 28:2 describes proper offerings to God as a 'pleasing aroma'; Ezekiel 16:19 uses the same phrase for idol offerings — contrasting true and perverted worship.

Genesis 8:21 uses 'pleasing aroma' for Noah's sacrifice to God; Ezekiel 16:19 uses the same phrase for offerings to idols — same words, opposite recipients.

Deuteronomy 32:38 mocks idols who ate Israel's sacrifices yet cannot help — same futility as Ezekiel 16:19 where Israel feeds powerless idols.
