Leviticus 13:55

And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.

Cross-reference

Ezekiel 24:13 uses persistent uncleanness that cannot be cleansed, leading to judgment — the garment remains unclean after washing.

2 Peter 2:20-22 describes those who escape defilement but return, facing worse judgment — similar to the garment still defiled and burned.

Hebrews 6:4-8 describes land that bears thorns and is burned despite rain, mirroring the garment that remains unclean after washing.
