Ezra 6:8 repeats the decree that temple expenses come from the king's treasury—directly continuing the same instruction.

In Ezra 7:20-23, Artaxerxes also orders temple expenses from the royal treasury — a later parallel of Persian royal funding for the temple.

1 Kings 6:36 describes Solomon's temple using three courses of cut stone and one of cedar — the same construction pattern appears here for the post-exilic temple.
