Proverbs 13:4 describes the sluggard who desires but does nothing — exactly the beloved's reluctance to get up despite wanting to open.

Proverbs 22:13 gives the sluggard's excuses — similar to the beloved's excuses about not wanting to put on her coat or dirty her feet.

In Luke 11:7, the man inside refuses to get up from bed to open the door — mirroring the bride's excuse of having washed her feet and not wanting to soil them again.
