Proverbs 18:20

A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.

Cross-reference

Proverbs 12:13 shows the wicked ensnared by lips while righteous escape — parallel outcome of speech but opposite results.

Proverbs 12:14 uses identical 'fruit of his mouth' imagery — a man satisfied with good from speech, directly echoing 18:20.

Proverbs 13:2 also says 'from the fruit of his mouth a man eats what is good' — same principle of speech yielding benefit.

Hosea 10:13 Contrast

Hosea 10:13 warns of eating the fruit of lies — contrasts with the satisfaction from truthful speech in Proverbs 18:20.
