Jeremiah 13:4

Take the girdle that thou hast got, which is upon thy loins, and arise, go to Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole of the rock.

Cross-reference

In Jer 51:63, Jeremiah ties a stone to a scroll and throws it into the Euphrates—another symbolic action using the same river, predicting Babylon's destruction.

In Jer 51:64, the prophecy that Babylon will never rise complements the loincloth symbol of judgment—both use the Euphrates for divine judgment imagery.
