Genesis 24:54

And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master.

Cross-reference

In 24:59, the family finally does what the servant requested — they send Rebekah away with him, completing the journey the servant began here.

In 28:5, Isaac repeats the pattern: sending a son to Paddan Aram to find a wife from Rebekah's family, continuing Abraham's mission started here.

In 28:6, Esau learns Isaac sent Jacob to avoid Canaanite wives — the same concern driving Abraham's servant here.
