Ezekiel 42:6

For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.

Cross-reference

Ezekiel 42:5 explains that upper chambers were narrower because galleries took space — clarifying why the three-story design in v.6 had varying widths.

Ezekiel 41:6 also describes three stories of side chambers, confirming the three-story design of the temple complex.
