Ezekiel 32:20

They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.

Ezekiel 32:23-26 lists Assyria, Elam, and others already in the pit – showing Egypt will join the slain fallen by the sword.

Ezekiel 32:29 adds Edom lying among the slain by the sword, sharing the same ignominious fate as Egypt.

Ezekiel 29:8-12 prophesied the sword and desolation for Egypt – here that judgment is being enacted as she falls by the sword.

Ezekiel 31:17 describes Assyria's allies going down to the pit with him – the same fate awaiting Egypt and her multitudes.

Isaiah 14:11 describes the king of Babylon brought down to the grave with worms – same imagery of fallen pride descending to Sheol.
