Ezekiel 10:6

And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.

Cross-reference

Ezekiel 10:2 gives the original command to the man in linen to take fire; here that command is recalled and repeated. A clear internal reference.

In Ezekiel 10:7, the command from verse 6 is immediately carried out—the cherub takes fire and gives it to the man.

Ezekiel 9:2 Historical context

Ezekiel 9:3 introduces the man clothed in linen and God calling him; here that same man receives a further command. A narrative continuation within the vision.
